Refund policy

At SY Customs, every steering wheel is made to order based on the customer’s vehicle model and selected customization options. Because each product is custom-built, our return and refund policy is different from standard ready-made products.

1. Made-to-Order Products

All SY Customs steering wheels are custom made according to your car model, original steering wheel style, and selected options such as carbon fiber finish, leather, Alcantara, stitching color, center stripe, LED display, trim details, and other upgrades.

Once production has started, customized products cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded unless there is a quality issue, production mistake, or the item received is clearly different from the confirmed order details.

2. Order Confirmation

Before production, customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information, including car model, year, trim, original steering wheel photos, and any required customization details.

If incorrect vehicle information or incomplete details are provided by the customer, SY Customs is not responsible for fitment issues caused by inaccurate information.

3. Production Time

Our usual production time is 10–15 business days before shipping. Production time may vary depending on the selected customization options, product complexity, and order volume.

Since each wheel is handcrafted, minor production delays may occur. We will do our best to keep customers updated if any delay happens.

4. Airbag & Electronic Components

Airbag is not included. SY Customs does not sell airbags or safety restraint systems.

Buttons, wiring harnesses, paddle shifters, heating function, vibration function, and other electronic components may vary depending on your original steering wheel and vehicle configuration. Customers should confirm compatibility before purchase.

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

5. Eligible Refund or Replacement Cases

We may offer a replacement, repair solution, partial refund, or refund in the following situations:

  • The item is damaged during shipping.
  • The item has a clear manufacturing defect.
  • The item received is significantly different from the confirmed order details.
  • The wrong product was shipped due to our mistake.

To request support, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.

6. Non-Returnable Situations

Returns or refunds are not accepted in the following situations:

  • The product was made correctly according to the confirmed customization details.
  • The customer changed their mind after production started.
  • The customer provided the wrong vehicle model, year, trim, or steering wheel information.
  • The product has been installed, modified, damaged, or used improperly.
  • Minor handmade differences that do not affect normal use.
  • Damage caused by improper installation or third-party installation.

7. Shipping Damage

If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide clear photos or videos of the package, product, shipping label, and damaged area.

We will review the case and provide a suitable solution depending on the situation.

8. Return Process

Please contact us before sending any item back. Returns without prior approval may not be accepted.

If a return is approved, we will provide return instructions. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging whenever possible.

9. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
